Mia & Meaghan Moments - iMPC Pro

In music tech at SMS we are starting a new app called iMPC Pro. We finished using Garageband for the year, but we may use it again. iMPC Pro is a more professional app than Garageband. Garageband has very easy access to mostly all of the settings, but iMPC Pro is different it has a lot more professional settings. In the app iMPC Pro we use virtual drum pads that have different sounds and tap on them to create beats or sequences, some sequences are made by the computer and there are blank sequences where you can make your own sequence and record them to make a song, beat, or music. It has a lot of the same features as Garageband like, the volume sliders on the different sounds, 4 beat count off before it starts recording, and you can record your own voice. This app has a lot to do with sampling like we talked about in our last blog. Like sampling it has a drum pad with different sounds that you mix together to create different beats and songs. Sampling generally uses physical drum pads but we use virtual drum pads on the app iMPC Pro.
